Citi Private Bank AP Risk Manager, SCO, Director Permanent NEW

This is a senior-level SCO Director position responsible for leading risk management activities including credit review, credit approvals and monitoring of the MSBF/Margin Lending portfolio in CPB/Consumer Bank . The overall objective of this role is to manage Citi’s portfolio exposure to client and counterparties in the region.

Responsibilities:

• Lead risk management activities associated with the CPB and Consumer Bank MSBF portfolios in AP
• Approve MSBF credit facilities to HNW/UHNW individuals
• Lead and/or work on ad hoc Risk projects and Regulatory remediation relating to margin lending
• Partner with CPB’s Investment Finance, Relationship Bankers and Risk Management across CPB, BCMA and Consumer
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in financial services and risk management required
• Experience with portfolio performance monitoring and diagnostics
• Knowledge of margin lending and/or derivatives
• SCO initial
• Proven analytic and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated successful in managing risk policy/strategy through the economic cycle and/or in various environments
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
