About the role “Creativity is thinking up new things. Innovation is doing new things.” – Theodore Levitt We are seeking a high-energy innovation catalyst that drives the execution of the innovation agenda. You will be amplifying and accelerating strategic projects that are identified as DBS’ big bets on the future to deliver measurable value and help it achieve its vision. The position involves frequent interaction with senior executive teams across DBS, as well as all other organizational levels and external stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to push the DBS innovation agenda to the next level.
What you will do
Develop strong cases for endorsement by Senior Management to explore and define a house view on the strategic projects core to our big bets agenda;
Manage the acceleration of big bets innovation projects by designing and creating a framework of engagement and traction;
Support strategic projects into the execution phase by building fit-for-purpose cross-functional squads and mentoring them;
Develop artefacts and interventions to facilitate squad discussions as well as communicate with Senior Management;
Support with insights to develop and articulate DBS’ position on long-term innovation strategy plans;
Serve as thought partner and advisor to key leaders across various units.
Who we are looking for
Strategic and analytical thinking with an excellent ability to put complex ideas into clear frameworks
Ability to create buy-in and build enthusiasm around strategies/recommendations
Interest in technology and proven ability to go deep in complex topics/verticals
Prior experience leading end to end strategy engagements preferred
Superior communications (verbal, prose, PowerPoint) skills; Concise, clear and convincing
Appetite to learn and comfortable with uncertainty
Experience in navigating complex organizations
High energy, passionate, positive, flexible and outcomes focused
