Continued enhancement of “clean sheet” should-cost analysis framework
Lead/Co-lead negotiations together with business line users
Support the Vendor Governance framework through tracking of supplier spend and ongoing management vendor relationships from a Procurement standpoint.
Primary liaison and Subject Matter Expert from Group Network Procurement to support business users, including eWorkflow, Ariba, Sharepoint and SAP Impact system as required.
Group Network Procurement Management
Matrix/full management of Procurement Managers of Group Networks Procurement.
Charter to develop the Group Network Procurement knowledge management policy and process, with a view to set up an information repository accessible by Procurement managers and business line users.
Lead and drive strategic initiatives as assigned by Head, Group Network Procurement and/or Group Chief Technology Officer.
Bachelor and/ or Master’s degree in engineering, computer, business, commerce, accounting or law Good negotiation skills and commercially inclined.
Minimum of 5 years in procurement sourcing, contract / project management experience preferably within a Telco or IT environment.
Strong commercial background and good understand of different cost drivers and saving levers.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent commercial acumen, financial assessment and business case development skills
Demonstrated capability in program and project management or category management
Demonstrated ability to work in great detail and deliver under tight time constraints and external pressure
Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, internal customers, management and peers
Ability to manage clients/vendors relationship and expectations
Excellent oral and presentation skills
Proven willingness to challenge ‘business as usual’; curiosity to think ‘outside the box’ and passion for driving cost improvements. Ability to be creative to meet business needs, but also pragmatic and results oriented
