Assistant Vice President, Customer Engagement Analyst
Job Responsibilities
Job Role
Reporting into Head of Digital Banking Group Data, Analytics and Portfolio Management. We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support our MI/BI reporting requirements for Group Senior Leadership and in-country Leadership Teams along with tracking Customer Engagement Activity Performance across UOB South East Asia Markets.
You are likely to have a bachelors or master degree in Business Analytics or Computer Science and consider yourself to be a creative thinker and problem solver when it comes to data reporting and analytics.
We are looking for candidates that not only have the ability to produce accurate and concise management and marketing reports but also has the intellect to derive meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
You are likely to have good stakeholder relationship management skills, a good team player and collaborator. Comfortable in building relationships and with the support of your Data & Analytics Team, you will have personal responsibility for providing Data & Analytics services for a select number of stakeholder groups including the Sales, Strategy and Customer Engagement Teams.
You are likely to have five to ten years’ experience, working in either in Management Consulting or client side positions preferably in retail banking or financial services but not essential.
Scope & Responsibilities
• Stakeholder relationship management, including Sales, Strategy & Local Market Marketing Teams and Group Technology Teams
• MIS & Analytics
o Defining KPI Frameworks, build sustainable data model and designing intuitive Dashboards.
o Produce a variety of custom reports to support group marketing teams, regional teams, executive leadership
o Drive key insights. Highlight key business opportunities, risks and effectively communicate the findings with actionable recommendations to business leaders verbally and in presentations
o Consolidate business performance data across multiple regions to create a unified view for business review and better decision making
• Customer Engagement
o Creation of clear Campaign coding taxonomy to facilitate on-going activity performance measurement.
o Defining KPI Frameworks, build sustainable data model and designing intuitive Dashboards.
o Apply statistical tools/models to perform advanced data analytics, identify key underlying drivers for growing customer engagement and business opportunities, and recommend a clear action plan going forward.
o Behavioral segmentation based on customer journey, profiles, transaction patterns, and app activities that will lead to highly personalized customer insights.
o Work with in-country team to identify the suitable parameters for campaign Lead generation and to track the effectiveness of the campaigns.

Job Requirements
Candidate Profile
• 5+ years of relevant work experience of Data Analytics and or Data Science
• In-depth knowledge of digital banking and other traditional banking products.
• Knowledge on Hadoop Eco-system. Well-versed in understanding the data model, sql concepts and executing scripts using programming Languages (HQL, Python, Spark, SQL / Hue Cloudera / R or MS-R etc.)
• Good knowledge in Data Modeling Concepts, effective in requirement elicitation, data staging and analytic
• Analytical mind with sound business insights. Ability to translate the business problems and requirements into analytics solutions.
• Good at storytelling, visualizing data via different lenses. Knowledge on reporting tool (Qlik Sense and or Microsoft Power BI).
• Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers communicating ideas and concepts with an end result of increased sales and profitability while handling situations with confidence, tact and resourcefulness.
• Assist Data Analytics Product Owners with data models, which includes building predictive models and basic Customer Segmentation
• Certification in Adobe Analytics / Campaign tool is a plus.
• Able to deal with multiple stakeholders and work in parallel.
• Knowledge of web measurement technologies: Website analytics software (e.g. Adobe, Google Analytics and AppsFlyer) will be added advantage.
• Flexible, adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
