Ensure safe execution and permit compliance in the field.
Supervise team of inspectors and technicians for various inspection jobs.
Train and ensure team’s compliance to Global Inspection Procedures (GIP) and
Equipment Degradation Documents (EDD).
Plan field execution and ensure team carries out timely, comprehensive and accurate inspections on the condition of fixed equipment / piping via onstream risk based monitoring programs and downtime inspection activities.
Respond to break-ins in the plant.
Point of contact with Craft FLS and Operations Unit Supervisor for all planned tasks.
Execute ISTe plan and feedback timely to Area Scheduler.
Responsible for first pass troubleshooting. If required, to seek Contact Engineer’s advice.
To witness for SI/PSV
Plan and coordinate resources as per ISTe plan
Review draft inspection reports generated by Inspectors, correcting any discrepancies and corrosion analysis data.
Responsible for providing input on inspection results, estimated corrosion rates, remaining life of equipment, guidance on probability assessments / degradation mechanism / failure modes.
Provide preliminary recommendations based on inspection results.
Issue final reports for approval by Contact Engineer.
Reviews repairs (temporary or permanent) and Inspection Test Plan (ITPs)
Gather daily work status feedback from team as preparation for Daily Permit Meeting.
Determine and inform Craft FLS / Operations Unit Supervisor on next course of action based on draft inspection report. Example, reinstating of insulation post inspection.
To verify and sign timesheet / FOA for team of inspectors and technicians.
To provide appraisal feedback for team of inspectors and technicians.
To release SES for payment.
