New Graduate Job Seeking Advice

Being a new graduate and entering the job market can be both exciting and daunting all at the same time.

Finding post graduate jobs can be a full time job in itself. The transition from full-time student to being an employee is not always a walk in the park. There are many mistakes that can be made if you don’t know what to look out for.

Fortunately, Future Work is here to help you take the worry out of your job search and the first few days and weeks in your new career post graduation.

1. Do You have Any Questions?

Got a job interview? Great! Make sure you have a few questions lined up. Do your research and pepper the panelists with a few during and at the end of the interview and watch what happens!

2. Beware of Your Body Language

Learn a little about body language so even if your nervous (it’s natural), you can still project a calm and professional image to your interviewer. Good eye contact, sit up straight and lean slightly forward to show interest.
